Do Sales and Motivational Seminars make you successful?

Basically, a person can only make himself successful. No training or seminar can make you successful. And that’s exactly where the crux lies.

I myself was at countless seminars and with me hundreds of participants. Whether sales training, motivational or NLP seminars, by far the vast majority of participants are not successful.

Many of my co-participants spent between € 10,000 and € 20,000 on series of seminars, and for most, sales or income did not move one millimeter. And, amazingly enough, the seminar materials are beautifully kept on the shelf and are never used again.

Why is that? And why do participants take part in more and more trainings and seminars? Both questions are easy to answer.In seminars a lot of knowledge is taught, almost always.

Fortunately, instructors already work with modern method so that really a lot is being learned. Nevertheless, learning remains just a transfer of knowledge. Information is stored in the brain but unfortunately most of it gets lost soon after training.

The reason why participants do not succeed is that all of this information is stored but does not generate the emotions in the subconscious mind that we need to implement the knowledge.

And only the implementation, the right activities, lead to results.But seminars are lots of fun. Group feeling, a sense of belonging for a period of time, motivation, positive mood and energy.

All this brings our emotions to a very high level and we feel strong, we feel as winners and we smell the success.

But then Monday morning comes and we are back in the office. All the enthusiastic feelings are gone.

Maybe a bit nostalgic or even wistful, we think of the weekend seminar. But now, here in the office, we stare at the same stupid phone, the same untidy desk, and feel the same discouraging feeling when we think about the acquisition calls we actually wanted to make.

And at the end of the week we find sobering that we have done nothing different than before. Hence, no more sales were made. Neuro-coaching is very different. To be truly successful, the brain also needs information, but that alone is not enough.

The brain needs the ability to think along DIFFERENT lines. You know yourself that your decisions are responsible for everything you’ve achieved – or have not achieved.
